Free and with a license¶

Bella ScreenRec has no trial and no end date. Without a license everything works at full quality, with camera, keys and sound, but every recording stops after 20 seconds. The file is kept. That is enough to try everything and to record short clips.

A license removes the limit. The control window says under the tiles how long you can record and has a License button.

Activate¶

Open License (under the tiles, or in the gear next to the record button), type or paste the key from your purchase email (BSR-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX) and press Enter. A typing mistake is caught at once. Buy license opens the shop.

Activating needs the internet once; afterwards the license is checked offline at every start, so Bella ScreenRec keeps working without a connection, for 90 days after the last renewal. When online, it renews the activation in the background once a week. A license activated during a recording lifts the limit at once.

Two computers¶

A license works on two computers at once, for example a laptop and a desktop. Deactivate this computer in the license dialog frees its place, for example before you move to a new computer; then activate the key there.

Versions¶

A license covers the major version you bought it for: a 1.x license works with every 1.x version. A new major version that your license does not cover says so in the update dialog before anything is installed.
